Thank you for using Kakao Brain's Karlo AI-based content generation and management platform and services, including developer services, APIs, data, contents, and associated software (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you are agreeing to the terms below. If there is a conflict between these terms and additional terms applicable to a given Service (including a Third-Party Service), the additional terms will control for that conflict. Collectively, we refer to the terms below, any additional terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies and guidelines as the "Terms." You agree to comply with the Terms and that the Terms control your relationship with us. So please read all the Terms carefully. If you use the Services as an interface to, or in conjunction with, other Brain, Brain affiliate, or third-party products or services, then the terms for those other products or services also apply.
Brain has subsidiaries and affiliated legal entities around the world. These companies may provide Services to you on behalf of Brain and the Terms will also govern your relationship with these companies. Under the Terms, "Brain" or “Kakao Brain” means Kakao Brain Corp., with offices at Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, and “Kakao” means Brain affiliate Kakao Corporation, with offices at Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, unless set forth otherwise in additional terms applicable for a given Service. Other capitalized terms have their meanings as defined below or in other documents that constitute the Terms. We may refer to "Brain" as "we", "our", or "us" in the Terms.
You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if (a) you are not of legal age or otherwise lack legal capacity to form a binding contract with us; or (b) you do not meet the minimum age applicable to a particular Service; or (c) you do not have an account with us or an authorized Third Party Service, as applicable; or (d) you are a person barred from using or receiving the Services or applicable Service under the laws of the Republic of Korea, the United States, or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services; or (e) you are otherwise precluded now or in the future under the Terms or other terms applicable to a given Service.
Check the following table for the minimum age and other requirements applicable to you. If your country is marked with an asterisk (*), and you require a parent or guardian’s consent, your parent or guardian must enter into these Terms on behalf of you. If your country is not listed below, the minimum age is as required in your country of residence (but not less than 14). If you have not reached the age of majority (legally an adult) in your country of residence, your parent or guardian must enter into these Terms on behalf of you.

To access or use certain features or functions of the Services you must have reached the age of majority (the age of a legally recognized adult) in your country of residence. If you are not an adult, you agree not to attempt to access or use any part of the Services designated for adults only.
You may use the Services as an individual natural person or on behalf of a legal entity such as a corporation, subject to the Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, you: (a) must disclose the name, address and other information of that entity and regarding your association with it as and when requested; and (b) you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to the Terms and that, by accepting the Terms, you are binding that entity to the Terms (and all references to "you" in the Terms refer to that entity). If you breach any of the foregoing, you will be obligated to provide indemnification under the Terms to the same extent as the entity that you claimed to act for in accepting to the Terms would be responsible to provide indemnification for its own breach of the Terms.
You will need an account to log into and use certain functions of the Services including content generation. We may allow you to use an account you already have with a Third-Party Service (e.g. Google or Kakao) or we may require you to create a new account with us or with another party.
In connection with your use of the Services, you may be required to (1) provide certain Personal Data and other information and (2) to give your consent to the collection and use of such Personal Data and other information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and/or the privacy policy of such Third-Party Service. You will only provide information that you own or that you are authorized to provide; all such information will always be accurate, true, and up to date; and you'll promptly inform us (as applicable, the provider of such Third-Party Service) of any changes to that information. We may use submitted information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
